Alex Kingsley (they/them) is a writer, comedian, and game designer. They are a cofounder of new media company Strong Branch Productions, and the creator of sci-fi comedy podcast The Stench of Adventure, which was a finalist for the Audioverse Awards. Their fiction has appeared in Radon Journal, Translunar Travelers Lounge, Sci-Fi Lampoon, and more. Their short fiction collection, The Strange Garden and Other Weird Tales, was released in early 2023. They made their sci-fi playwriting debut with “The Bearer of Bad News,” presented by the Annenberg Foundation in 2022, and their sci-fi play Unplanned Obsolescence will be performed at the 2023 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Courtney LeBlanc (she/her) is the author of the full-length collections Her Whole Bright Life, Exquisite Bloody, Beating Heart, and Beautiful & Full of Monsters. She is the Arlington County Poet Laureate, a Virginia Center for Creative Arts fellow, and the founder and editor-in-chief of Riot in Your Throat, an independent poetry press. Vonetta Young is a writer and financial services consultant based in Washington, DC. Her essays and fiction have appeared in Indiana Review, Barrelhouse, Lunch Ticket, Catapult, Cosmonauts Avenue, and Gargoyle, among others. She serves as insight (nonfiction) editor for The Offing and was previously senior fiction editor at The Rumpus and assistant flash editor at Hippocampus.
