Join us for an evening with music critic and bestselling author Rob Sheffield. Sheffield will read from his new book, Dreaming the Beatles: The Love Story of One Band and the Whole World. He will also talk about the connections among music, memories, and the raptures of fandom across a variety of popular music genres. A Q&A and book signing will follow.
This event will be held off-site at CitySpace (100 5th St NE) and will be co-sponsored by the Charlottesville Center for History & Culture and WTJU. It will be free and open to the public.
"No rock critic—living or dead, American or otherwise—has ever written about pop music with the evocative, hyperpoetic perfectitude of Rob Sheffield."
