In Loving Mountains, Loving Men, the “godfather of queer Appalachia” Jeff Man shares his experiences in essays and poems. Performance artist and author Anya Liftig explores her origins in Holler Rat. Danielle Chapman, a poet and professor, confronts the racism and militarism of her southern childhood, as well as its beauty in Holler: A Poet Among Patriots. Author Jeffrey Dale Lofton (Red Clay Suzie) moderates.
