Join us for a reading with writers Cary Holladay (Brides in the Sky) and Bruce Holsinger (The Gifted School). This event will be free and open to the public.

Cary Holladay’s awards include an O. Henry Prize and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. Brides in the Sky: Stories and a Novella is her eighth volume of fiction. Previous books include Horse People: Stories and The Deer in the Mirror. Her stories and essays have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Blackbird, Cincinnati Review, The Georgia Review, The Hudson Review, The Sewanee Review, Shenandoah, Tin House, Virginia Quarterly Review, and many other journals. She teaches creative writing at the University of Memphis. Her work reflects the history and folklore of her native Virginia. For more details, visit caryholladay.net.
