About Festival Friday: In celebration of their 30th Anniversary, the Virginia Festival of the Book is hosting its very first “Festival Friday,” on and around the Downtown Mall.
Imagine the concept of “First Friday,” but with a literary spin, and during a different part of the month. There will be music, art-making inspired by books, poetry prompts, readings with local authors, and more. Start your evening at the Omni Hotel for a map of events and a mug of hot cocoa, and then begin your verbose adventures.
