Join us for First Fridays as we celebrate the art of Blake Hurt, whose work will be on display up on the mezzanine for the months of December and January. This event will be free and open to the public.
Artist Statement
This is a collection of new watercolors on clayboard of Blake Hurt’s trip to New Zealand. The paintings are intended to be a record of some of the many beautiful landscapes of that distant land by a Charlottesville artist who only expects soft snow on a wooded mountain in the dead of winter, not glaciers clinging to jagged peaks in the heat of summer.
