Join us as we celebrate the release of Jane Alison’s new novel, Villa E. This in-person event will be free and open to the public. We recommend arriving early for the best seating.

About the Book: Inspired by the real-life collision of Irish designer Eileen Gray and famed Swiss architect Le Corbusier and the extraordinary place that bound them, Villa E boldly reimagines a now-infamous feud into a lushly poetic and mesmerizing novel of power, predation, memory, and obsession.

About the Author: Jane Alison is the author of four previous novels and a memoir, The Sisters Antipodes, as well as translations of Ovid’s stories of sexual transformation. She’s also written a book on the craft and theory of writing: Meander, Spiral, Explode: Design and Pattern in Narrative. Her new novel is Villa E, a reimagining of the collision of architects Eileen Gray and Le Corbusier. She is a professor of creative writing at the University of Virginia.

Villa E will be released on August 6. To order the book, please see below for the New Dominion Bookshop book order form or call the shop at 434-295-2552.
