Join us as we celebrate the release of Robin Traywick Williams’s book The Key to the Quarter Pole. A signing will follow. This event will be free and open to the public.
The Key to the Quarter Pole is a rollicking story of racetrack characters struggling with moral dilemmas, large and small, all revolving around free-spirited Louisa Ferncliff as she trains her last best horse, Alice’s Restaurant. Louisa Ferncliff is a fixer. She fixes horses with scrambled eggs for brains and counsels the lost little people on the backstretch of the racetrack. But her own life is a mess of impulsive decisions. Now, as she limps towards retirement with a quirky horse and an unethical protégé, she gets a surprising second chance at happiness.
