Please note that this event, originally scheduled for January 2022, is now postponed to June 18, 2022.
Join us as we celebrate the release of Russ Linden’s new book, Loss and Discovery. This in-person event will be free and open to the public. We recommend arriving early for the best seating.
About the Book: Loss and Discovery offers guidance to leaders and others who are interested in how to lead change. It explores Torah episodes as well as numerous contemporary examples that offer lessons on what to do and what not to do when navigating today’s unpredictable and turbulent environment. The book draws on leadership studies, history, psychology, politics, sports, neuropsychology, and economics, as well as the Bible. It also includes insights from Abraham Lincoln, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Nelson Mandela, Colin Powell, and others. The book emphasizes practical methods that you can use to make change in your organization and in your personal life.
About the Author: Russ Linden has been teaching and writing about leaders as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Virginia and Federal Executive Institute since 1985. He has published six books. His areas of expertise include leadership in the Torah, collaboration, change management, and resilience. His clients include major federal government agencies, nonprofits in the U.S. and Israel, state and local agencies, and elected officials.
