Please join us for the awards ceremony of the Village School Jambalaya “Fragments of the Future” short story contest.

Jambalaya is a publication of Village School by, for, and about middle school girls. The “Fragments of the Future” short story contest was open to girls in grades 4 through 8 who attend city and county, public or private schools in the Charlottesville area. Cash prizes were awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the two age divisions, grades 4 & 5, and grades 6, 7, & 8. Winners are invited to read their work at this event, and light refreshments will be provided.
